Cosmelan Peel

Cosmelan is an anti aging treatment process. Not only does it help to create a more youthful look, it helps to reduce the pigmentation on the skin. Cosmelan is a line of skincare products created by Mesoestetic Laboratories. Cosmelan is designed to treat pigmentation issues.

Depigmentation treatments such as Cosmelan specialize in lightening the overall tone of your skin so it becomes more even and spots and blemishes end up being much less noticeable. Pigmentation issues can come from many sources such as acne, aging, exposure to the sun, and other natural sources such as freckles.

Product Details

Cosmelan is a two-step treatment program for depigmentation. Step one is applied at a professional facility by a dermatologist or other person certified in this type of skin care. Step one is a mask that is applied and the formula is different for each skin color and skin type. This is left on for an unspecified amount of time before it is removed completely with soap and water. After the mask is removed and the skin is cleaned, Hydra vital Factor K Cream is applied to help moisturize the skin.

The second step of the Cosmelan treatment you can do in the comfort of your own home on a daily basis. This consists of using the Hydra vital Factor K Cream followed by the Total Moisturizing Sun Block.

The overall goal is to reduce pigmentation and the manufacturer suggests that results of 95% pigmentation reduction are possible after just 30 days.

Chemical Peels

We offer a wide range of peels including: Glycolic acid, salicylate acid, lactic acid and tricloroacetic acid peels and enzyme peels in different strengths. These peels benefit patient with mild skin blemishes, uneven toned and dull aged skin. These peels are applied by our doctors.

Chemical peels slough off old skin cells and encourages the re growth of new collagen cells. This helps to reduce fine lines and wrinkles as well as pigmentation and clogged pores.

Depending on the strength of the peel used, the patient will experience some superficial peeling which involves redness and mild scaling that lasts 3-5days.

We can also use FDA approved iClear as part of the treatment which enhances growth of collagen.

CO2 fractional laser peel

CO2 Laser Resurfacing, which was approved by the FDA about 15 years ago, is still considered the gold standard. Much has changed since the introduction of this laser procedure. For the right patient with severe sun damage, very serious wrinkling of the skin (as opposed to just loose skin), and enough time to recuperate, a full CO2 laser resurfacing can be a life-altering procedure.

With fractional CO2 laser peel, there is less down time.

This is a stronger treatment compared to micro fractional laser and is used for deep acne scars, scar remodeling, fine wrinkles and pores.

Micro Fractional CO2 Laser

We are excited to offer our patients the benefits of fractional laser resurfacing. This treatment can improve, texture, tone and pore size, reduces and removes brown spots, smoothes acne scars, decreases wrinkles. The laser is applied to the skin in microscopic laser spots, to minimize the downtime.
You can expect to have a few days of a "sunburn" look and some peeling after that. You will see results after one treatment and more results each time you have the micro fractional CO2 laser resurfacing procedure.

This laser is good for general skin lightening, skin tightening, reduction of pores and moderate acne scars.

Spectra Laser Toner Peel

Laser peel uses a dual mechanism of a photo thermal and photochemical peelings helps reduces acne, pore skin, pigmentation. A thin layer of liquid carbon is applied to the face, the laser is then used to disperse or fragment the carbon particles. This offers a resurfacing effect and at the same time reduces sebum production and normalizes epithelial proliferation.

You skin may be have a sunburn look post laser and some peeling after that. You will see result after one treatment.

The laser is used to smoothen the skin, lighten skin tone, reduce pores, reduce acne and acne marks and reduce skin sebum.

Oxygen Jet Peel

This treatment uses high velocity jet mix of water, oxygen and treatment solutions. This treatment has a scaling and peeling function, removing sebum and dead skin. Also it supplies nutritive substances to the skin to enhance collagen growth. This treatment is suitable for acne lesions, cell regeneration, wrinkles, removal of dead skin and skin moisturizing effect.

This treatment has immediate results with no down time.
Oxygen jet peel can be combined with placenta solutions for anti-aging, antioxidants for pigmentation and wrinkles and vitamins for skin rejuvenation.

The Acne H202 oxygen peel is suitable for patients with acne comedones and inflamed papules who are not keen to take medication.
